The Beaded Beauty Border can be made with any weight yarn (with the relevant sized hook). Used as the finishing edge for the Keep Calm and Crochet On UK 2015 Afghan CAL; though I think it would look great as an edge on any blanket.

Pattern is written in UK and US terms and includes explanations of all stitches and abbreviations.
