This pattern is for a pair of socks that is knit from the top (cuff) down on two circular needles, with an optional 12-inch needle. The cuff part of the sock is beaded, using the easiest of the bead knitting methods. This method is clearly explained within the pattern. If you would like the beads to “stand out” more, use silver-lined beads. Only the cuff is beaded, so the sock is fairly quick to knit. If you’ve never done any bead knitting, but would like to try your hand at it, this sock would be an excellent choice.

The pattern is both charted (for the cuff section) and written out line by line.

The directions are written for all three sizes: Small, Medium and Large

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate: (assuming a knowledge of knitting, purling, and yo’s)

The yarn used to make the sample pair is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn in the colorway called Black Purl.
