As promised, here are the instructions for the beaded version of my Virga Lace Choker.

The knitting pattern for the ‘plain version’ without beads, is available here.

This is a great, low-commitment project for those wishing to get into beaded knitting.

I was inspired to knit a choker in this lace pattern when looking at in-progress project photos of my Virga shawl , an upcoming pattern for a semi-circular lace shawl, which will be published on the blog soon.

For the Virga choker I used Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush mercerised cotton yarn, but you are able to substitute this with a range of other types of yarn, especially sock yarn.

I suggest to knit the choker on 2mm to 2.5mm dpns.

To complete the choker with beads, you will require app. 110 small beads with a hole measuring 1mm.
