This is the cover project on Knitting Magazine 085, January 2011. It is a hat and collar set, the hat being knit bottom up in a textured stitch and seamed, and then a crochet flower added. The collar is a short scarf knitted sideways in the same textured stitch, with a crochet flower and press stud or popper added to fix the scarf as collar. The hat has a ribbed headband, and the collar has ribbed borders on each long side.

2 x 50g balls of recommended yarn make the hat, and 4 balls make the collar. A large press stud or popper is required for the collar, plus row counter for both items.

The hat is knitted flat, but could be easily adapted for knitting in the round. There is no stitch diagram or chart.
