Bear baby hat is an adaptation of my very first hat pattern that I made for my daughter.
I designed it to be very warm, with an outer and an inner layer around the ears and the Fair Isle knitting.

Knitting level: Experienced

Skills required: Provisional cast-on, decreases, circular knitting, Fair Isle knitting, 3 needles bind off, braiding

Size: One

To fit: a 2-4 years old

Finished measurements: 48 cm in circumference

Yarn: Worsted weight wool/approx 109 yards/100 meters per 50g

Yarn used: Less than 2 skeins of Katia Merino shetland

Yardage: Approx 98 yards/90 meters of C1 and C2

Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn, tassel maker (optional)
