Since early in the twentieth century, teddy bears have been warming our hearts with their endearing charm. There’s nothing that brings us back to our childhood more than feeling that soft, huggable fur, with those classic round ears. Now that iconic bear has been brought one step further with this wear-able version for your children to enjoy!

The cool thing about this bear hat is that the entire thing is worked in one piece…ears have never been so easy to make!

Loom: Adjustable Hat Loom, set to small (xs) size of 34 (28) pegs, large gauge (pegs in every other hole). (4) peg connectors, (2) 25 peg rounded loom pieces (2), 3 peg loom rails

Yarn: Approx 90 yards super bulky #6 weight yarn, Lion Brand Luxe Fur, 48% wool, 47% acrylic, 5% nylon, in Java was used in sample. (Hat: ap-prox 58 yards, Booties: approx 32 yards)

Notions: Knit hook, tapestry needle, 6mm crochet hook, removable stitch markers/scrap yarn

Gauge: 3.75 sts x 8 rows = 2” in garter stitch

Size: Sample Hat: 18” circumference x 7.5” high, ears add another 2.5”
Sample Booties: 6” circumference x 5” length from toe to heel
