This pattern is currently being re-worked and will be available again soon.

This pattern includes instructions for the bear and his/her jumper.

It is designed to be a really easy project for a beginner knitter as all the parts of the bear are knitted in garter stitch with no shaping.

All the features, such dividing the body and head and making the ears and nose are done with a running stitch after stuffing.

The tension is not too important although you don’t want too loose a knit so that the stuffing does not show through.

The jumper uses stocking stitch and ribbing so can be a nice little project to learn a few new skills.

I knit these bears as presents for new babies as they are quick and easy!

The bear has been really popular in the shop - so much so that someone stole it!
