Everyone needs a favourite bear. One that will be hugged at bedtime, cried into on bad days, have secrets whispered into woollen ears, taken on outings, and, eventually, worn threadbare with love and attention. This bear is just the thing. With jointed limbs that can move, Bear is able to take part in tea parties or picnics, sitting nicely at the table or blanket. Bear can be tucked up into her own cosy bed or made comfortable in yours. Wherever you go, Bear will gladly go too.

This pattern is peppered with colour photographs to help you with each step of making not only Bear, but her quilt and pillow as well.

The pattern is written for working in the round (with each limb and Bear’s head and body worked as separate pieces). This means that there is much less seaming and finishing than you might think! This pattern is perfect for knitters who are confident with basic stitches, increases and decreases, and who are looking to increase their skill base!

I hope you enjoy making your own Bear as much I as I have.
