Finished size:
approx 23cm (9 inches) from the tip of the toes to the top of the head.

From this pattern you can make a brown bear or Polar bear and also included are instructions for you to make a Panda and a bear with a lighter snout.

The bear is knitted flat with worsted weight yarn on 3mm needles and 4ply/fingering weight yarn on 2.5mm for the shoes and lower body. All pieces are seamed afterwards.

The dress is knitted flat to the waist and then in the round for the skirt using fingering/4ply yarn on 2.75mm needles. There is an alternative dress which is worked completely flat in simple stripes and seamed.
