The bearded toque was inspired by the Bearded Cap by Vik Prjónsdóttir. This version is knit all in one piece, top down, with interchangeable mustaches, in two colours.

I have decided not to publish the pattern formally but I know a lot of people are interested in knitting this for personal use so please respect that.

NOTE: I worked up this pattern very quickly so that people might be able to finish it for x-mas 07. I know it’s not a real official “pattern”, more like an outline-- just use your creativity and follow your intuition. It will all be OK
