Fall Knitting Weather is finally here! To celebrate I’m offering 3 cowls for the price of 2! Purchase any two of my cowl patterns and get a third cowl pattern for free! (No code needed. The price of the third cowl will be automatically discounted in the cart.) Promotion runs until October 31, 2018!

The texture of the Beatrice Cowl mimics the waves and flow of water with simple decreases and yarn overs. Cowl is extra long for a draped-scarf feel. Named after my favorite water vampire from the Elemental Mysteries series.

Sizing: One size about 34” (86 cm) around and 10” (26 cm) tall
Yarn: 300-350 yards DK weight Sample knit in Valley Yarns Northfield color Balsam and used about 125 g or about 310 yards.
(Note: Pattern is written and sized for DK weight, worsted weight also works well but please keep in mind that the larger worsted gauge results in a larger cowl.)
Needles: US #6 (4.5 mm) 24” or 32” circular needle (or size needed to get gauge)
Other Materials: 1 stitch marker, yarn needle
Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” in pattern
(Note: Gauge in pattern is looser than it would be in basic St st.)
