A sweet little set that is lacy yet very practical.

The set is a very full lacy matinee jacket with a matching bonnet, and a pair of baggy bloomer type trousers with a lacy frill at the ankle, and a pair if slippers.

It is a very pretty matinee jacket on it’s own and does not have to be part of the whole set.

The body of the jacket is made up in one piece, so there are quite a lot of stitches to cast on, but don’t be put off as it makes the pattern very tidy without seams and there is less sewing up to do..

I have knitted this many times and in lots of different colours and it always looks lovely.
