This pattern is available as part The Cumulus Collection in print and as an ebook, which launches at Fyberspates stockists on Friday 9th November 2018.

We love the current trend for gradients and this super cute hat is the perfect quick weekend project to showcase them.

Knitted with two or three colours of Fyberspates Cumulus, the Becloud Hat uses two strands of Cumulus held together to create an ombre effect. Using Cumulus doubled makes the most gorgeous soft, warm, lightweight fabric with a lovely drape (ideal for a hat with just the right amount of slouch) and it also makes awesome pompoms so we couldn’t resist adding one to the top of these hats!

You only need a ball of each colour to make a hat so it’s the perfect chance to experiment with colour. Worked in the round, with minimal finishing, you can whip one of these up in no time!
