Here is a classic beret knit with fingering weight yarn held double.
It has a narrow band, a flat crown, and an i-cord bob on top--
simply elegant.

The ribbing circumference is 17” unstretched and up to 24” stretched.
When laid flat, the crown diameter is 11”.
