This is an amigurumi pattern, so knowledge of the form is good. Guage isn’t really important, just make sure your stitches are tight enough to keep all the stuffins in!

I used 12 guage floral wire in my doll to give the wings, arms and legs stability. You don’t need to do that, but he will be floppy if you don’t.
