This head-turning “Beehive Sweater” is very thick. The best use for this garment is in the fall/winter/spring when the weather is below 50ºF. When you wear the sweater, it feels toasty and cozy.
I doubled the strands because I didn’t have any chunky yarn at hand. However, I had nearly 2 kilos of Knit Picks DK Merino. You may replace it with chunky yarn. Perhaps you would love to use light and fluffy (chunky) yarn instead of merino. Then all you have to do is a swatch to make sure you will size your work correctly.
