Beetle Brooch Cowl
This cowl is based on the image of a vintage beetle brooch displayed on a puffed bed of velvet.
Items Required
Needles:
24” / 60cm circular needles in US size 3 (3.25mm)
24” / 60cm circular needles in US size 5 (3.75mm)
Yarn: Two skeins of contrasting colors in DK weight yarn.
190 yards MC / 150 yards CC
Yarn used in images is Yarnaceous Fibers “Rhodolite Garnet” and “We Need More Teeth” in Bronto DK.
Notions: Scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle
Finished Size: 12” wide by 12.5” tall blocked.
Gauge: 24 stitches wide by 32 tries tall, over a 4” square after blocking.
