Befringed is a trendy little self-fringing cuff, that would be a perfect stash buster project for 4 ply sock yarn leftovers. Also it can be a nice project to learn a few techniques like kitchener stitch, knitted cast on and i-cord bind off.

Befringed is all about the fringe. You can style the fringe any way you like. Of course there are several suggestions included in the pattern.

The cuff is first worked flat; that makes it easier to style the fringe. After seaming it to a tube-like form, stitches are picked up alonge the edge to attach a clean looking bind off in the round.

There’s a link list to tutorials on the more complicated skills you’ll need in the PDF.

Note: You can use a yarn with 2 plies for most fringe styles, but if you want to make the fringe the pink sample is showing 4 ply will work best.
