This pattern uses one ball of Lion Brand Boutique Treasure in color Spectrum and size US 15 circular needle, 29” or longer.
Measure out two of your own wing-spans of yarn, tie a slipknot and cast on until you have 6” to one foot of a tail remaining. Being very careful not to twist your work, join into the round and knit all stitches until you have just enough left to cast off, then cast off loosely as follows:
Knit one stitch, then slip the next stitch knit-wise. Knit these two stitches together by inserting the left needle into the front of the two stitches and knitting them together through the back loops. Slip the next stitch knit-wise and knit together as before. Continue in this manner until all stitches are cast off.
Weave in tails.
Finished cowl will be about 80” around and 6” wide. It will naturally curl up on itself so that the purl side is showing. Mine wraps around my neck three times very comfortably. Happy knitting!
