This is quite large and generous triangle shawl, shaped with 4 increases in every other row. The size depends on your preferences, smaller or larger - it’s up to you :). The shawl is knit in one piece from the top to the bottom. The hem is ruffled which makes the garment very faminine and attractive.

The gauge for this project is not essential, it can be made in any yarn weight of you preference. I chose Fine Wool for the winter style but it can be made in summer yarn too (cotton or bamboo) and worn in colder summer weather.

The shawl is very easy to knit. It is perfect for a beginner knitter who would like to get more experience in knitting, purling, slipping stitches and increasing the garment at the same time. The pattern is multiple of four stitches, repeat two rows. Both sides of the shawl are identical, so it can be wrapped around you with no care how to hide the wrong side :)

Happy knitting!
