This is a sweater for REAL BABIES, regardless of the pretend baby in the photo.

The body is knit in one piece up to the underarms, then divided for front and back. Sleeves are picked up and knit downward toward the cuff in the round. The only seams are the shoulders seams which are joined using 3-needle bind off.

The lace pattern has only one row of very simple yo’s and p3tog’s which make a very subtle ripple at the hem. Neck, cuff and front edges are garter stitch.
