You are looking at a crochet pattern for a precious little cardigan. This pattern can be made into a vest, a short sleeve cardigan, or a long sleeve cardigan.

With this one pattern, you can make a variety of sizes, your gauge and yarn will determine the size you make. Accurate gauge is given for all sizes on the pattern.

Materials needed:
Yarn -
Fingering or Lace weight yarn for preemie, newborn, or 0-3 months
Sport weight yarn for 3-6 months, or 6-12 months
Dk or light worsted weight yarn for 12-18 months, 18-24 months, or 2T
Worsted weight yarn for 3T, or 4-5T

  • Buttons
  • 4 for the cardigan
  • 1 or 2 for flowers (to add to barettes or headbands) optional
  • Yarn Needle Ribbon (to add to sleeves)optional*

I do not give a recommended hook size on this pattern. The hook you need will depend on the gauge needed for the size you want to create.
If you are unfamiliar with making gauge swatches to achieve the correct gauge, I do have videos available for that.

Difficulty - Intermediate, although this is an easy pattern, and with the videos, it’s a great “first cardigan” pattern for a beginner
