Bella the Spring Bear loves going out in her favourite purple dress to pick lots of strawberries (yum!). Once her basket is full, she goes home to make her signature dish - a strawberry tart!

Getting an exact gauge is not important for this project.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • This item is a PDF that you download through Ravelry
  • The finished bear ends up approximately 11cm tall sitting down (including ears) using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller toy and vice versa
  • Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through

MATERIALS

  • Head, ears, muzzle, body, arms, legs, and tail: 8 ply (DK) cotton in light brown - approx. 30g / 73m / 80yd
  • Headband, bow, and dress: 8 ply (DK) cotton in purple- approx. 11g / 27m / 30yd
  • Basket: 8 ply (DK) cotton in brown - approx. 5g / 12m / 13yd
  • Strawberries: 8 ply (DK) cotton in red and green - small amount
  • Flower: 8 ply (DK) cotton in yellow - small amount
  • Black thread to embroider eyes, nose, and strawberries
  • 3mm crochet hook for 8 ply (DK) cotton
  • Yarn needle
  • Polyester fiberfill stuffing
