Belladonna is a feminine and flattering fingerless glove with a slightly Victorian feel.

The lavish deep cuff, with a relaxed gauntlet fit, and hand hugging herringbone lace edging are balanced by smooth stockinette to create a graceful silhouette.

It lends itself well to clear strong colours and yarns that will show off the lace detailing.

Structurally, the glove is worked first as a flat strip of lace for the cuff, and you then pick up stitches and continue in the round to work the rest. Several sizing options are included to allow most hand sizes to be accommodated.

Now also available as Rav download for those outside the US who were reporting occasional slight difficulties ordering direct from the KnitPicks site.

** Possible Errata** Am in the process of checking out a possible gremlin, its possible that if working the small size you may find yourself one stitch short after working the thumb gusset. If so, add one more m1 on the next plain round and all will work out. I’ll be reknitting this to double check very soon and once I’ve worked out if this is happening throughout I’ll modify the pattern and issue an update. For the moment, the above should sort it out
