Belle Doll
This doll is inspired by the classic fairy tale character, Belle, from Beauty and the Beast.
I was an adult before I ever actually took the time to see the movie, on a thrift store VHS to boot, and I absolutely loved it.
She’s a favorite fairy tale character for many and I hope you have as much fun making her as I did!
Tools:
3.5mm crochet hook needed to obtain gauge.
Any 4-worsted weight yarn will do, preferably in acrylic. Up to 50g in each color. pink may use scrap yarn.
You’ll need it in the following colors:
Brown (hair)
Yellow (dress and headband)
Black (eyelashes)
Pink (optional blush)
Peach (for skin)
Orange or gold (dress trim)
Two 12 mm safety eyes, a darning needle, scissors, and stuffing.
single crochet: 17 rows of 17 sts = 4 in.
Intermediate
Ability to read and understand a pattern.
You will need to know how to make a Magic Ring and it involves basic sewing skills.
