Sometimes I dye sock yarn and design patterns to fit, other times I dye yarn to go with patterns. This was a case of the latter. I found this stitch pattern and immediately thought of this color. It took a couple of tries to get the color just right, and some modifications of the stitch pattern to fit a sock pattern, but I’m really happy with the end result.

This is a top-down sock pattern featuring a star toe (my new favorite technique). The pattern includes instructions on how to dye yarn to get this color. I’m not one for pastels, but this one is great. Perfect for Spring knitting.

P.S. The color is more accurate in the second photo.
