’Beloved’ was commissioned by Rachel of Sitting Knitting in Sutton Coldfield, Birminham, to celebrate her shop’s first anniversary.

’Beloved’ is worked from the top down and starts with a stocking stitch section while you get used to the shaping and then flows into a beautiful lace border. This shawl can be worn as a shawl or as a scarf.***

’Beloved’ is available as a kit with 2 skeins of Knit By Numbers in a variety of beautiful colours from Sitting Knitting. Mail order available (free postage) - contact Sitting Knitting.

16 sts and 18 rows over 10cm/4in in Chart A after blocking.
Exact tension is not essential but a difference in tension may affect the final size and amount of yarn used.

Don’t forget to check tension or you may run out of yarn. If it looks like you’ll run out of yarn, you can go straight to Chart B instead of repeating the last 12 rows of Chart A.
