This pattern is for a distinctive two-colour brioche hat featuring a thistle design. This pattern was inspired by walking in Scotland.

The hat is knit from the brim up. The two-colour brioche gives the hat a distinctive and intricate thistle pattern. This pattern includes some complicated brioche stitches. With movements of the stitches happening on both sides of the knitting.

This pattern includes some advance brioche stitches and will be a little tricky in parts. This is not an ideal project to start learning two colour brioche with.
