A work colleague asked me to crochet her a little beanie for her first-born nephew named Benjamin. As he was born at the beginning of winter, I made this size to fit him up to 3 months.

With hook in hand and some simple known stitches I created this beanie; I found it fitting to name this pattern after him.

This is a beginner to easy pattern. I have added extra comments throughout the pattern to make it thorough and understandable for a new person entering the crochet art. A pattern like this will get you on your merry way to learning crochet techniques and overall make the experience fun for you. Any experienced crocheter will also enjoy the simplicity and quick pattern.

Any 8 ply yarn can be used. Be creative with your colors and textures.

Other sizes will become available in the near future. Stay tuned!
