Beorn is a Northman, a Shape-shifter, Skinchanger, and the last of his kind. He has the ability to change his form between that of large man and large bear. He was held in captivity (as were most of his kind), enslaved by Azog The Defiler, escaped, and continues to wear a chain on his wrist as a reminder of that time.
This contains a slightly more complex cable than a simple crossover.

This contains instructions for both a cowl and scarf, designed as companions to the Beorn Hat and fingerless mitts (or mittens) released January 2015 as part of the Sheepy Time Knits Middle Earth club. This pattern is also available written for DK weight.
