Skill-level: Intermediate, due to cabling and sock construction.
Materials: Approx. 350-400 yards (320-365m) of sock yarn. The socks pictured are a size large and used approx 390 yards of Iachos Sock Yarn from A Hundred Ravens in the color “Apollo”
Needles: US1 (2.25mm) sock needles; pattern is written for both DPNs and Magic Loop
Tools: Cable needle, if required, tape measure, scissors, and tapestry needle
Gauge: 32 stitches and 36 rounds in stockinette stitch across 4 inches or 10 cm square
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large) sizes measure approximately 8(9,10) inches or 20.3(22.85, 25.5) cm in circumference. Leg height, ankle depth, and foot length are all adjustable to fit and preference.
Note on sizing: although heavily cabled, the legs maintain a certain degree of elasticity. Sizing will run true for most knitters.
