The Bergen Peak Pullover features updated takes on two classic techniques: Fair Isle and cables. This handsome pullover has flowing staghorn cables at the yoke and a striking graphic colorwork band. It is worked in the round from the bottom up.

Difficulty Intermediate

Finished Size 36 (40.75, 44.5, 48, 51.5)“ chest circumference. Pullover shown measures 44.5”; modeled with 4.5” of positive ease.

Yarn Cascade Yarns Longwood (100% superwash extrafine merino wool; 191 yd/3.5 oz): #40 midnight (MC), 7 (8, 8, 9, 10) skeins; #46 cream (CC1) and #30 silver heather (CC2), 2 skeins each.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 16” and two 32’’ circulars and set of double-pointed. Size 7 (4.5 mm): 24” and 32” circular and set of double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; cable needle; size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook; waste yarn; stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” in St st with MC on larger needle; 20 sts and 23 rnds = 4” in colorwork patt on larger needle; 24 sts and 28 rnds = 4” in cable patt on larger needles.
