Stitches Used: C8B and C8F (instructions provided for these cables), seed st, K2tog, P2tog and SSK

Skill Level: Intermediate or Adventurous Beginner

Size: Woman’s Small/Medium (up to approx. 21” head circumference), Woman’s Medium/Large (22” and up). Directions are written for size S/M with changes for size M/L in parentheses

Gauge: 16 stitches and 23 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch, unblocked over larger needles

Materials:

  • Size 5.5mm (US 9) circular needles (16” for in the round, at least 40” cable for magic loop or double pointed needles) or size to obtain gauge
  • Size 5mm (US 8) circular needles or double pointed needles
  • Stitch markers (optional)
  • Tapestry needle

Yarn: approx. 170 yards worsted weight yarn Used in photo: Malabrigo Merino Worsted (Pearl)
