You will need: yarn (up to 70g for the smallest sizes, up to 170g for the larger sizes), knitting needles, darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the back of the bonnet. The hat part of the balaclava is knit flat, the neck part is knit in the round. You can use either double pointed needles to knit the neck part, or a circular needle and Magic Loop.
