Bernard’s body is knitted in one piece from the snout to the bottom and stuffed as you knit, so he will start to come alive while still on your needles! The spots are duplicate stitched on afterwards, and the mane is crocheted. Or if you’re not comfortable with crochet, you could sew on tassels for the mane instead. The legs, tail, ears and head appendages are knitted separately and sewn on.
