This is a fun hat with lots of texture. It’s been popular in my shop and we’ve done a workshop using this pattern.

This is easy enough for all but the true beginner knitter. You will need to know how to knit in the round. Explicit directions with photographs are included for the “quilted” look stitch pattern.

I am available for knitting help via e-mai or ravelry messaging.

You will need aran weight yarn, examples shown are knitted from Manos del Uruguay Kettle Dyed Wool and it’s also great in Malabrigo Worsted Merino. You will use 16” Size US 9 circular knitting needles and a set of four size US 9 double pointed knitting needles. This will fit up to a 22” head circumference.
