This cute, lacy, rectangular shawlette has tapered ends and is just big enough to ward off the chill on a cool summer evening. Alternatively, it can be wrapped around the neck as a scarf to keep warm on a crisp, autumn afternoon. It is quick and easy to make as it only uses chains, single crochet and double crochet stitches.

The sample shawlette was crocheted with Dizzy Blonde Yarns Lambie Toes in the Big Damn Heros colorway. It takes one skein to make a shawlette with a wingspan of 62 inches and a depth of 15 inches at its widest point. Any fingering weight yarn can used to create this shawlette, however, the finished size may be different than the sample.
