This shawl is worked entirely in knit (garter stitch with eyelets). It’s designed to stay on the shoulders easily. Because colours can be changed at your whim, arbitrarily, it’s a great way to use up leftover sock yarn. The colour and style possibilities are endless.

The shawl is worked from the top centre point outwards.

•knit from the top centre point, outwards
•3.75mm US#5 80cm 32” circular needle

Yarn used in pattern sample:
four 50g skeins of Oceanwind Knits Merino, 100% Hand-dyed Superwash Merino, fingering-weight, 185yds per 50g

Finished size: 70” 175cm wingspan, 22” 55cm from top to lowest point
