Are you still waiting for that second season of Firefly? So am I, so I designed this little tribute to what might just be the best tv show ever. Knit these babies and keep the hope alive. You can be a big damn hero too!

Size: Width: 10 cm/4” Length: 30 cm/11.8” )
Gauge: 38 st x 30 rows = 4” after blocking
Yarn: Filcolana Arwetta Classic Pale Yellow 196 (approx. 30 g), Orange 198 (approx. 30 g) and Green 220 (approx 15 g)

I knit my mittens using the magic loop method, but DPNs work as well, or a short circular needle if that is what you prefer.

Please make sure not to leave too long floats at the back of your work. I usually twist the yarn every 3 stitches.

Oh, and if you publish pictures of your mittens on any social platforms it would be really cool if you use the hashtag #betrayalmittens. But only if you want to, of course.

And don’t forget to be shiny to one another!
