Betty is a garter stitch slipper with a cable and moss stitch diamond motif on the foot. It comes in 2 sizes and both written and charted instructions are included. The slippers are constructed by casting on for the heel and working in the round. The sole is worked flat in garter stitch, and the remainder of the slipper is worked in the round. The toe is closed by grafting, and attached I-cord finishes the opening of the slippers. Betty requires a small amount of worsted weight yarn, and is perfect for last-minute gifts.
