These colorful cup cozies are a quick, easy knit and make wonderful gifts. The double-thick middle section keeps your hot or cold beverage insulated and your fingers protected. Have fun playing with color, using up those small, leftover bits of your favorite
worsted weight yarns.

Stitches and Skills:
Knitting in the round on small circular or double-pointed
needles
Two-color stranded knitting following simple charts
Cast on, cast off, knit (k), purl (p), increase by knitting into the front and back of a stitch (kfb)

Finished Size:
Height: 4 inches (10.2 centimeters)
Bottom Circumference: 9.5 inches (24.1 centimeters)
Top Circumference: 10.5 inches (26.7 centimeters)

Yarn:
Worsted weight. I used Paton’s Classic Wool and a bit of my handspun.
Colors A and D (for top and bottom ribbed sections):
approximately 10 yards (9 meters) each color
Colors B and C (for middle stranded knit section):
approximately 12 yards (11 meters) each color

Needles:
Size 6 (4 mm), 11-inch circular or double points
Optional, size 7 (4.5 mm) for casting off
