Betty’s Poncho is a design I have created and named as a tribute to my late mother.

This is a versatile adult sized poncho that has an openwork design on both the front and back sides so you have detail on both aspects. It can be worn as a collar that opens to the side or it can be buttoned up to make a polo / turtle neck.

The detail on this piece comes from post stitches and chain stitches, which make up the main body of the design, along with the ribbed collar.

The completed project uses approximately 600g of the specified yarn to complete.

You can add any buttons of your choice to decorate the collar of your completed garment.
