I was gifted a pair of mittens a few years ago with this color palette and I absolutely love them. I decided to try to replicate the stitch pattern and the colors so I could make a new pair with a matching hat. This set can be worked up in multiple colors or just 2 but keep them bright for a spot of color in the otherwise depths of wintery cold.

Sometimes, in a moral struggle, we discover the right thing to do - just as, on some cold day long ago, we discovered mittens pinned to our coat sleeve. Robert Breault – musical artist
