Betwixt is both a hat knit sideways and one knit bottom up, a hat knit in garter stitch and one knit in stockinette, a hat knit in a solid colour and one knit in stripes (and managing all this from a single skein of yarn!), this hat has everything you could desire, including cute earflaps for keeping out the chills.

This pattern is fun to knit, but it is also very simple, providing a wonderfully satisfying knit and great results.
