Worked seamlessly from the top down in simple stockinette, the Beverly sweater has an eminently simple foundation that’s easy to tailor for a perfect fit. The couture finishing details--contrast i-cord edging, satin ribbon facing, hook-and-eye closures, and delicate knitted and crocheted floral appliques--are each quite simple to execute, but taken all together they elevate this garment to instant-heirloom status.

Beverly is shown knitted in both the laceweight Alpaca Cloud (held doubled) and the soft and serviceable pure wool Palette yarns from Knit Picks listed above--each of them comes in a spectrum of rich colors, so the possible combinations are endless!

The larger amount of yardage needed is for the Alpaca Cloud yarn doubled. Please note that for Palette or other fingering weight yarn, you will use a single strand, and not be holding double.
