This is a basic fingerless mitt worked in the round on two circular needles. Cuff is knitted on 2 - size 4 circ. needles and hand and thumb is knitted on 2 - size 5 circ. needles to give a gauge of 5 stitches to the inch in stockinette stitch. Mitts are pretty stretchy and will fit most people….but…if you desire a larger size - you may substitute size 5 needles for the cuff and size 6 needles for the hand. Mitts should be knitted with a medium to heavy worsted weight yarn. This is because we want the mitts to be dense for warmth.

You may substitute using the magic loop method instead of using two circular needles if that is your desired method of knitting in the round.
