This is an expanded version of On the Edge from Knit the Rainbow. It is a simple pattern which uses garter stitch, basic increases and decreases, and a picot cast-off to create a graphic, very wearable wrap.

Yarn

The Knitting Goddess Britsock (4-ply/ fingering weight; 60% wool, 20% alpaca, 20% nylon); 400m/437yds per 100g skein):

1 x 100g skein and 1 x 120 g set of mini-skeins. Shawl shown is worked in Black (colour A) and Printer Ink Tints mini skeins (colour B).
