Easy garter stitch triangle shawl, knit on the bias. Great project to knit while sitting in front of the tv, or just when you lack the brainpower to tackle a more complicated knit.

Can be made with any size yarn, just use a needle size that’s appropriate. I used one skein of Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball, with size 6 needles, and came out with a shawl measuring 46” across from tip to tip, by 22” from top center down to bottom tip, that’s without blocking. If you’d like to make this larger, just keep following the 2 row repeat until shawl reaches desired size. Of course, you’ll need more that the one skein for that.

If making this with a worsted weight yarn, I’d suggest going up to an 8 or even a size 9 to get good drape. Lion labels Shawl in a Ball as worsted but I would debate it’s closer to lightweight (3).

Merry making!
