Cover your boring bike U lock with something gorgeous!

I didn’t like the way my lock would bang into my bike every time I put it on, so I knitted this cute cover! Now there’s no bang, and it looks great.

I knit this flat in garter stitch and then sewed it on to the lock. You could knit in the round though too.
The ends are woven in tightly at the two bottoms to hold the cover in place.

I recommend a tough yarn like cotton, as I made one in wool that quickly broke after it was used a few times.
