Little miss Big Belly Ellie is a cuddly little elephant looking for someone to love!

Ellie is great with both children and grownups, loves peanuts, hugs, and the great outdoors, and the best part is that she’ll only get as big as you make her (about 5 1/2” tall and 10” long)!

This detailed pattern comes with lots of pictures. It’s ideal for intermediate crocheters, but with a little practice, I’m sure that even those new to crocheting stuffed elephants can make Ellie!

-- Size G crochet hook
-- tapestry needle
-- stuffing
-- stitch marker (optional)
-- safety eyes, buttons or a small amount of felt
-- 3 different colors worsted weight yarn

-- single crochet
-- increase
-- invisible decrease
-- invisible color change

If you plan on making Big Belly Ellie for children younger than 3 years, I recommend either embroidering or sewing on the eyes.
